Arrived late at the job, working overtime all week

|

You never know when traffic is going to be absolutely horrible in this city. Some afternoons it’s perfectly wonderful & other afternoons it will hold you up for hours. This is a large problem for me as someone who has to drive back & forth two odd jobs for my biweekly work. I’m not the sort of person who just commutes in the morning & then sits in an office all morning. Instead, getting to the office is the first challenge of multiple transferation treks. After that, I go from cabin to cabin repairing heating & cooling systems for local residents. In general, I adore being a professional heating, cooling, & air quality control specialist; However, there are afternoons when I feel like I’m fighting a losing battle because of the unpredictable traffic conditions, then recently, this was the case when I left one strenuous heating & cooling repair job & ran into a large traffic backup on my way to another Heating & A/C service, and unblessedly, my team of fellow heating & cooling workers was waiting for me at the next air quality control repair job. When I showed up over an hour late to the Heating & A/C upgrade everyone was harshly angry with me, and not only did they harass me for the rest of the morning while my friend and I tried to complete the indoor air handling unit upgrade, but the punishment went on for the rest of the week. I have been stuck working the overnight emergency Heating & A/C shift ever since my tardy arrival at the heating & cooling upgrade job. The sleepless nights actually aren’t helping me to handle this traffic, either.
