Several years ago when I was looking for a new position I never thought that I would wind up being a personal assistant! I would not say that I am an extremely extroverted or people-pleasing kind of human, for starters.
I also do not take a lot of direction truly well. I can get truly defensive when someone is being critical or asking too much of me, however that’s why, it has been shocking to get along well with my boss as an executive assistant. I know the greatest challenge that I have with his is dealing with his high standards for indoor air quality! Whenever we started working together I realized that my boss was rather preoccupied with the control unit, however every few minutes it seemed like he was standing up plus investigating the air temperature control component on the wall. I thought it was rather disruptive for his to be so upset with the indoor air quality, however as such, I provided to take over his air temperature variations throughout the afternoon. I thought it would be simple to jump up plus press the button on the control equipment every so often, but I never expected that this air quality assistantship would get so overwhelming… Soon, I was also responsible for maintaining the entire heating plus cooling system. She was having me call the local heating plus cooling maintenance shop nearly every week with some but I absolutely get a workout from all the trips back plus forth to the control unit.about air quality control. She consistently wanted to know how we could improve our indoor air quality, decrease our energy costs, or install new Heating, Ventilation & A/C device for the business. To this afternoon, we have not made a single heating plus cooling update but at least I get a labor out from all the trips back plus forth to the control unit.
