Reading electrical gas meters for heating purposes

|

When I was a child I was entirely actively involved outside; During my childhood I can recall times where I would abruptly do my homework and then rush outside and play with six other village teenagers.

We would play all sorts of games from kickball to hide-and-go-seek! Hide-and-go-seek was one of my number one games.

We played in such a immense group and it turned out to be entirely competitive, that’s why it was one of my number ones. I had the best hiding locations, there was a secret latch door that would be hidden behind the bushes of my house. It was located right near the electrical gas meter that read our family’s electric and gas energy use. When I was young I had no idea what it was. I always thought that the meter was for decoration and was something that was always on the side of a house. As I grew older and had a condo of my own, I realized that glancing at this meter was crucial. The electric on these meters is measured through kilowatts. This will allow me to see how much electricity I am using yearly since I mostly use my electricity for my Heating, Ventilation as well as A/C system and lighting purposes. I have always been told that it’s crucial to read the meters from right to left. I like keeping track of my electricity usage as it allows me to see if I’m using my Heating, Ventilation as well as A/C system too much… Sporadically I leave my Heating, Ventilation as well as A/C system on when it does not even need to be running.
