Sometimes I just have to pinch myself. Sure, there have been tough time in the past and there will be in the future. That’s just part of residing this life. But for the most part, I’ve led a very blessed existence. My fiance and I share a charming condo with plenty of space, an amazing family room and the latest in Heating, Ventilation as well as A/C technology. In fact, my friend and I have zone controlled Heating, Ventilation as well as A/C, a smart temperature control and the highest SEER rating possible on our heat pump. So my friend and I absolutely have some amazing quality heating and air in our home. My friend and I live very close to the town where my friend and I work. While our end of the town offers us a small backyard and more quiet than maybe downtown, my friend and I wanted a bit more peace. So my friend and I ended up purchasing a weekend get away spot that’s about an hour out of the city. This locale is magical and just the perfect locale to spend two or three days to reset and reflect. But the home absolutely needed some help before it was able to be fully enjoyed. The condo was perfect and the home was in great shape structurally. It’s sort of small with 3 family rooms and a cozy family room. However, the residential Heating, Ventilation as well as A/C device was shot as were all the appliances. My friend and I made some other updates with a whole wall of sliding glass doors to maximize the light and the spectacular view. Instead of replacing the heat pump for the central air conditioner that was there, my friend and I made the decision to go with ductless heat pumps. This way, my friend and I have more efficient heating and cooling separate from having to worry over the aging HVAC duct. It’s worked out charmingly.
