Working for the inauguration and being a contract worker for Heating, Ventilation as well as A/C

|

A lot of people don’t realize what my task entails.

And sometimes I don’t know my family takes my profession seriously either, only until this past week.

This past week the Heating, Ventilation as well as A/C company that I labor for was hired by the 2017 presidential inauguration to come and inspect the heating and cooling units to ensure everything would be laboring officially for the president and his supporters. To labor at the capitol, I had to go through a background check and big security clearance to be laboring in a highly guarded area. Our task was to make sure that all of the temperature controls had full batteries and were laboring officially. We had to test out both systems, heating and cooling to ensure that the heater or air conditioner would kick on as well. The administration did not want the President, Vice President, their administration and press feeling uncomfortable due to it being too hot or too freezing in the building, and because there was so various rooms and square footage, one temperature control would not suffice comfortable temperatures. There was at least over sixty unusual temperature controls. Most of these temperature controls controlled a particular part of the capitol building through zone control heating and cooling. When I got there to do the labor I was a little upset because I thought that their Heating, Ventilation as well as A/C systems and unit was going to be high-tech and out of my proficiency range. I predicted wrong and have dealt with much newer Heating, Ventilation as well as A/C systems before. It was a good experience and hopefully my good friend and I will be able to be the Heating, Ventilation as well as A/C supplier who does the labor again in the future.
