There are a lot of improvements that I would like to make to my new house. There are several locales that could use new paint, a few areas where I want to install shelves, some lights that need to be replaced or rewired, & flooring that could actually be substituted. I know my friend and I will get around to these projects eventually, however I’m looking forward to completing one additional modification some time soon, so my friend and I can start to save money as soon as possible. I would love to install zone controlled heating in our locale. I’ve heard about this new technology for a while now, however I’ve never considered how it could be useful for us until my friend and I got this giant house. Now I understand how much money it costs to heat or cool an entire apartment & it seems like a giant waste, especially when there’s only one or two people apartment at a time. It seems deranged to be pumping a/c into the full volume of the apartment when we’re situated in only one or two rooms. It would make a lot more sense to focus our Heating, Ventilation & A/C usage to only the regions that are instantly being used, rather than trying to manage the temperature everywhere at once. I know that this would keep our most utilized living spaces more comfortable, since they would be closely monitored & maintained. It would also save us a ton of money in utility bills each month, since my friend and I wouldn’t be wasting so much power running the central heating & cooling units.
